Jim McNamara

With more than 3 decades of baseball experience, Jim McNamara founded McNamara Baseball Group with a mission to provide unparalleled representation and advice to baseball players from high school through the Major Leagues.

As a Certified Player Agent, Jim works with many of Major League Baseball's best players and rising stars including Wilmer Flores, Jonathan Sanchez, Josh Maciejewski, William Simoneit, Zach Barnes, Tanner Smith, Devin Russell, Colin Tuft, Cade Davis, Anderson Espinoza, Josh Sborz, Ryan Feierabend, Isaiah Pasteur, Rio Gomez, and Nate Fassnacht.

In 2017, while representing Wilmer Flores, McNamara Baseball Group became the first agent since 2008 to win an arbitration case against the New York Mets.

Besides playing for the San Francisco Giants, Jim was also chosen as All ACC First Team Catcher while playing for NC State, and was part of two Texas League championship teams while playing for the Giants Shreveport Captains. This decades-long involvement in baseball has provided Jim with extensive contacts and close relationships with professional baseball's front-office staff, scouts and coaches as well as college and high school personnel.
